Weapon vehicle zoom is shared by air when it should be separate

When choosing aircraft control settings the zoom>vehicle weapon zoom option to toggle or hold is shared between ground vehicles. 

I want to toggle in a tank but I want to hold zoom in a jet/heli. Since these vehicles have different button configurations I don't understand why you would think they should automatically share the same zoom configuration. Please separate the zoom between air and ground
