Weekly challenge progress

I just got this weekly challenge from refreshing and now I'm stuck with it as well

I got a weekly challenge for 20 "Kills or Assists with Sniper Rifles." and it also does not progress at all. So I think the "Get X kills or assist with X" challenges are bugged if you guys are having the issue with engineer. 

Got the same issue and the got it the same way as Jiiafei​. Refreshed the weekly challenge all 4 times, as I didn't like any of them, and ended up with Get kills or assists as Engineer (00/50).

Odd thing is the icon of the challenge is from the Recon class, not Engineer..

Anyway, I've tried everything. All classes, all weapons, explosives, Engineer-exclusive gadgets, headshots, long-shots, nothing worked. After dozens of games and hundreds of kills, hasn't tracked one. If it doesn't get fixed I'm going to fail this weekly challenge and miss out on the battle pass points, for the battle pass I paid for..

Getting Recon class kills for some reason now counts on progression instead of Engineer for me, especially because I now just realized it has recon icon as well. : /

Oh, getting Recon class kills worked for you? I'm pretty sure I tried that and it didn't work, but I'll try again now..!

Anything special about the kills? Does it have to be sniper? Or any kill works for you?

I got 4 progression with the sniper and the rest with the DMR. and I done it all in gauntlet mode because battle royale gives me too much anxiety tbh. So I'm sure any form of kill works

Hey guys, I’ve finally figured this one out. The challenge is just very poorly named. Whoever gets it, ignore the Get kills or assists as Engineer name and treat it like this:

- Get kills or assists as Recon in Redsec game modes.

Other gamemodes don’t count, other classes don’t count, and any weapon works (even vehicles).
