Having same issue. Wonder if they will fix it. I hate playing with tier 1 teams, but feel like there will be no other option if this is how it’s going to be.
Team diversity that we saw in 25 was so beautiful to see. If that style of matchmaking was in 27...that would be a huge step forward.
Yep been loving tier 2 battles
In CFB 25, there were 1.7 million people in the RTCFP. In CFB 27 there are just over 100k right now. The diversity is going to suffer when there are so many fewer people playing this game mode. In CFB 26 there were 200k people at the end of July, but it grew to over 600k by the end of the year (June 2026).
