Hi everyone!
It seems there’s an issue with the penalties on the Albert Park circuit in Australia.
Several drivers received 3-second penalties on their very first track limit violation without getting any prior warning.
There’s even a case where one driver received two 3-second penalties for a single off-track incident (see video).
The issue affects multiple corners, specifically Turn 1, Turn 4, Turn 6, and Turn 10
Could you please check the circuit?
After verification, it looks like several championships have been affected by this issue.
Since we’re at the beginning of the season for most championships, and Australia is the first GP on the calendar for many of them, this problem has quite an impact.
