On maximum AI difficulty (110), the AI in F1 25 are significantly too slow. This makes it impossible for seasoned players, esports drivers, and those seeking a realistic challenge to enjoy competitive racing. Even in the slowest cars and using default setups, it’s currently too easy to outperform the AI, which takes away from the realism and challenge of the game.
In previous games, 105 AI with a custom setup provided a perfect challenge for me personally but now I can easily beat them on 110 with a default setup, even though I’m not yet fully used to the new game. The AI’s improved racecraft, strategy, and consistency are noticeable and appreciated, but these improvements are undermined by the lack of raw pace at the highest difficulty.
