I would like to report a serious problem with the game in the current state: the absolutely unrealistic AI's Top Speed that is killing the career mode of F1 25.
This morning I did a 50% My Team career race in canada with 101 AI difficulty, first season; I will share with you three moments wich makes absolutely no sense and shows how the AI is coded completely wrong about their Top Speed:
1: I was behind lawson for several laps, inside the DRS zone, once on the backstraight I acrivated the DRS and for my surprise I realized that not only I was not gaining anithing on Lawson, he was even gaining time on me, and he was not using DRS because there's was no one ahed of him, so lead by curiosity I went into replay mode to see what top speed he was reaching and for my surprise I discovered that he, without DRS, ERS and slipstream was reacing 328 km/h, wich was the exact same top Speed that I was reaching while chasing him with DRS, ERS and his slipstream.
2: Same race, I was chasing Bortoleto this time, I lunged to overtake him into the hairpin in canada, I got DRS, once we were on the backstraight I activated DRS and again I was not gaining time on Bortoleto behind me wich was without DRS, on the contrary I was losing time and he even came alongside me and almost overtook me, I repat I was using DRS and he wasn't!
3: third and last moment of this race, I was in P9, nobody ahead of me, so no DRS and no slipstream, behind me Lawson again at nearly 2.1 seconds. We approach the hairpin, exits of the hairpin the gap was 2.0, so no DRS for Lawson, at the end of the backstraight the gap came down to 1.3!!, so he gained 7 thents only on the straight without DRS and splistream.
So at the end of the day, it's not a problem about R&D, drag weight reduction etc. It's a problem about how the AI is coded, as of now career mode is unplayable and it's a shame because this year's game is great, but it's ruined by the AI's top speed.
I hope a fix is in the works because as of now the game is unplayable
thats a great review honestly but thats not enough for them, they want clips from us because they dont play their own game, they now its unplayable
i thought maybe i will send them a full 5 laps race from miami, the AI is too fast on Miami but they dont care
