AI straight line speed.

It's the same for me.  It's like they have no drag and unlimited battery on every straight.

AI has more power from the ERS than the player

I have had to lower the AI to see if this changes Thier top speed on straights and out of the corners, in my game it doesn't. I am playing at 93 and the straight line speed is like the AI cars have tickets attached to them. It makes any track with a lengthy straight almost impossible to defend against. Please tell me this is going to be addressed.

So even when the my team car has all the upgrades, the AI will always be quicker on the straights, some tracks more then others.

i did find out that its a issue with the My Team car. In driver career, driving for one of the ‘normal’ teams, this issue is as good as gone. 

Might be interessting if more of you guya test this out to confirm this.

Hello, I am not playing below 100 but on exactly 100. I still seem to come across these same issues as mentioned already. No matter what setup I use, the AI just seem to be far too quick on the straights leaving me with no real chance of ever overtaking. 

So in my 3rd attempt at my team I took the best development, factory and finance options and given the way I play it is mostly a non-issue at top speed. The AI has better traction out of slower corners but not always. 

In my opinion the issue is related to the My Team car maybe not being developed to the point where it can compete. For instance I just finished Austria where I had AI in my DRS up the hill and using ERS could keep them behind me all the way. But my car is currently the best car in terms of development. 

In my previous games with backmarker cars it was racing a cheetah with a tortoise. 

please for the love of god, fix this

Some people have posted videos about the issue, multiple people have over different platforms complained about the issue. Reddit alone has multiple videos about the issue.

You also have videos from content creators showing the problem fully. Like yesterday in this video from youtuber Tom97: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4Iavbp0f3k&ab_channel=Tom97

Look at the amount off straight line speed the AI has compared to the player when one can go on full throttle. Yes, this is on 110 AI so the car is lighter, but you also have similar videos from Matt212, Alex Gillon, Thomb and Jarno Opmeer himself saying this is a problem. Not to mention the amount off clips on Reddit.

Many off these youtubers have contacts within Codemasters so they can report directly, some off them also say they have done so. Yet you need more from us. Like why? What do you need from the community that the players that report to you directly cant give?

The problem is evident even if way below 110 AI. For the player it is not ERS related as we can dump the battery on a straight with DRS and get overtaken by a car that does not have DRS. Many people have higher top speed on corner exits with full throttle so in many cases, that eliminates the problem with traction.

Just play the game, take a look at some Youtube videos.

The bare minimum you can do is update the status to "Under investigaton" instead off re-updating to "Need info", which is just an insult at this moment.

Please be a bit professional and give us some insight to what you actually need or what you are doing. Because as off now, you clearly dont do anything to either listen to the community or look at the problem at issue.
