Critical Loss of Vibration Feedback on DualSense in F1 25 (PS5)
Title:
Critical Loss of DualSense Steering Feedback During Cornering – F1 25 (PS5, v1.006.000)
Platform: PlayStation 5 (Standard DualSense Controller)
Game: F1 25
Version: 1.006.000
Mode: All Modes (Single Player and League)
Controller Settings: Vibration and Trigger Effects set to Maximum
Issue Description (EN):
In F1 25 on PS5 (v1.006.000), the DualSense controller randomly loses vibration and haptic feedback during races, especially when cornering under high lateral load. This affects steering feedback specifically, not throttle or trigger vibration. Once lost, the vibration does not return until the session ends or is restarted. This makes it difficult to drive on the limit and heavily impacts immersion and race performance.
Impact:
- Loss of steering feedback during cornering
- Inability to judge grip or car balance at the limit
- Reduced immersion and driving precision
- League races and competitive play become unreliable
- Degrades the overall gameplay experience
Steps to Reproduce:
- Start a race on any track (e.g. Bahrain, Spa, Imola)
- Drive through medium or high-speed corners
- Observe loss of vibration during or after sustained lateral load
- Vibration does not return until the session is restarted
Priority: High – Core gameplay feature affected for controller users
