Currupted save file

I simulated the mexican gp. After the results came up i pressed advance, but instead of throwing me back into the menu it threw me back into the race weekend menu. I coudnt continue my save file so i restarded the game and after going back into the save file it crashed. I reopened the game and said corrupted data: recovery unsuccesful. This definetly needs investigating as it I lost all my singleplayer save files.
