Custom Camera Angles Are Glitched

I race with custom onboard camera settings and when the field of view is expanded past a certain point, the game does not like it (unlike in previous titles) and there tends to be the outline of another part of the car in the in-game view - included two screenshots of a real and custom car in game at different camera angles (TV Pod/TV Pod offset).
