Currently running an Oculus Quest 3. This has been happening for a few games now, but sometimes when switching between VR and flat mode (eg between sitting in the garage and looking at the garage screen) Steam VR can sometimes freeze and crash. It most frequently happens if the headset is moving while switching modes, or if you try to press buttons (eg switching between garage tabs) while the game stabilises.

Hi, did you ever find a fix for this? Im having the same issue and looking to see if there is a fix out there somewhere.
This has been ignored for 3 months, and is still an issue as of v1.11
This is still an issue, it has caused me to lose entire races and have to start them again. Please help
