Dynamic Resolution Target FPS missing in VR
Hi, while the Dynamic resolution itself is working in VR, the option "Dynamic Resolution Target FPS" is missing. My visor is PSVR2 with adaptor, 120Hz, capped to 60Hz via SteamVR. My guess is that F1 25 Dynamic resolution is aiming to 120Hz (in fact it always scales down to the minimum value I choose even with plenty of headroom). Can you please add "Dynamic Resolution Target FPS" to VR mode too ? Thanks.X-Formig Special Livery texture glitch with an extra white line.
On the X-Formig Special livery that we received as a title sponsor reward, there is a visible white line on the right side of the driver's cockpit, while there isn't one on the left. Upon closer inspection, those white lines seem to be some texture glitch that should not have appeared there. The location and the look of the white line are shown in the pictures below. I used the Decal Edit view for screenshots to better show the issue, but that white line appears in both Career mode and F1 World Car. It also appears in both the monitor view and in VR mode (I noticed it via VR mode to begin with). Report Code: RGGG-RJZS-SXXZ-VBJDVR is broken
Whenever I start the game in VR mode, everything looks fine, until I get to actual gameplay (garage/driving). The view is broken, each eye looking in some random direction. Resetting VR position does nothing. I have also tried many other options, tweaking settings, closest I got to "fixing" it was overriding scale to 50%, but even in that case, it is still slightly headachy, and just looks overall horrible. The problem is on PC, using a PS VR2 connected through the official PS VR adapter, with an AMD RX 9070 XT through DP 1.4. Other games work perfectly fine with no tweaking.VR not working (AMD 9070XT)
I also askes AMD about this issue: On my GPU 9070XT i still have a VR issue. Tried everything with new and the latest 25.10.2 driver but no luck. So i'm back on the AMD 25.4.1 release (amd-software-adrenalin-edition-25.4.1-win10-win11-apr22-rdna). INGAME: Tried everything, but i still get a strange grey image in VR and only the HUD ingame is showing correctly (with F1 25). I saw posts online with positive results. Is there anything you can do? Or do you have any tips/tricks? Note: this only occurs in F1 25, all other games DO workVR loading screen issue
I have a quest 3 with steam link, when i play vr (second race) when i play again after a race, the loading screen is black for about 30 seconds (triggers steamvr to say that the computer isnt sending any video and disconnect me) so i request to add like an f1 decal of that track you are racing.VR Wobble / jitter when in Car
This issue has persisted since 23 /24 and makes the game unplayable. When in game, there is a head tracking problem which gives the feeling of "wobbling", and it seems to be that the tracking is delayed or out of sync, causing stutter when moving your head. This causes instant sickness and makes it unplayable. I'm yet to find a post in the community with a fix and it seems to be a very common issue. My specs: 5700x3d 32GB Ram Nvidia 5070TI Quest 3 via SteamVR (Link cable and virtual desktop) running at 90hz Tried a wide range of settings, including dropping everything to the minimum. No avail. No Anti-Aliasing Options in VR mode
Trying to get VR up and running after getting the non-vr graphics settings setup, and I found that there are no options beyond TAA and TAA + Sharpening while playing in VR mode. I doubt this is intentional because DLSS and FSR were available in VR for F1 23 and F1 24. I tried to circumvent this with the XML file by manually setting the correct values for DLAA, but it did not seem to work. Hopefully this can be fixed promptly because TAA looks absolutely terrible and blurry. Hello. As a VR user, I'm very dissatisfied with the VR experience of F1 25. Despite using the highest graphics and VR settings, the game is very blurry and fuzzy. Even F1 24 and F1 23 looked better. Even with workarounds found online, the game doesn't look any better. How can a developer release a game for VR players in such a state? It's simply unacceptable. I was hoping for updates and improvements after release, but it seems no work is being done in this area. Or is something still planned? Feedback would also be great, as there are no answers to many bug reports.Black screen, only osd visible
Again with this, i play in VR and have a 9070xt, the game worked in the 1st day and after that was all pitch black on the actual race or practice...ive already deleted the hardware files over and over again, i changed the AA multiple times, i changed resolutions and changed graphic settings, ive checked the game files the vr files the ea app files and the steam files..still pitch black, only osd and sound...outside the 3d everything works...ive even tried to add the game to the steamlib to see if it worked but to no avail, i can even see the blurry game behind the pause menu. To meation that if i look to the monitor i have, the game is there....rendering wellVR Particles Different Per-Eye
I figured I'd try a bit of VR. Although as of 1.15 (haven't tested since the 1.16 update, but I'm pretty sure it'd be the same), I noticed that per-eye, the particles are displayed differently. I'm sure the monitor itself displays things normally, this is just an issue in the headset specifically. (To be clear, this isn't an issue with the headset directly, but how the game is displayed in each eye.) Using spray as an example, if I have a car ahead of me with its right side tyres generating spray, and I turned my wheel 90-degrees, which happens to block the spray, in the right eye, it would be blocked properly. In the left eye though, I could see that "phantom" effect copied over, like some weird "shadow" effect displaying in the left eye from the spray being blocked. It's like there's two different display particles that are combined, but also not really. I haven't recorded or screenshot anything, but I do hope the devs revisit the VR side of things. I'd hope it's a simple fix!
