F1 25 PS5 - Error Code PP65539 with Crossplay Enabled (Egypt - ISP "WE")

Hi EA Support Team,

I am experiencing a persistent issue with F1 25 on PS5 where I cannot join any multiplayer lobbies if Crossplay is enabled. Whenever I try, I get the error code PP65539.

If I disable Crossplay, the multiplayer works fine, but I can only play with other PS5 players.

I live in Egypt, and my ISP is "WE" (Telecom Egypt). I have done extensive network troubleshooting on my end to ensure the issue is not from my router. Here is what I have tried:

  1. Changed DNS to Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1).
  2. Checked NAT Type: I have NAT Type 2 (Full Cone NAT).
  3. UPnP is Enabled and successfully mapping the required ports for the PS5.
  4. Checked router firewall: DMZ is off, and WAN Access Control is clear (no blocking rules).
  5. Tested on a completely different network using a Mobile Hotspot, but the exact same error persists.

Since my local network settings are fully optimized and the issue happens across different connection types, it seems to be a routing issue between EA servers and ISPs in Egypt specifically regarding Crossplay matchmaking.

Could you please investigate this routing/server issue? We really want to enjoy the full crossplay experience.

Thank you.

I have also verified that I am NOT behind a CGNAT. My router receives a direct Public IPv4 address.

  • One thing i have found as a point of action after some investigation is:

If your ISP uses CGNAT (which seems common in Egypt), you may need to call them and request a standard, non-CGNAT public IP address
