Mode: Qualifying
Issue: ERS does not deploy on any qualifying push lap. The battery enters every timed lap at 100% charge. When the overtake button is pressed, the HUD shows 'Deploying' but the battery remains at 100% and no power is delivered. The car receives no ERS benefit throughout the entire lap.
Settings confirmed:
- ERS Assist: Off
- ERS Mode: Manual
- L1 assigned as overtake input
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter any qualifying session
2. Complete an out lap — battery charges to 100% by the start/finish line
3. Begin push lap and press ERS Overtake (L1)
4. HUD shows Deploying but battery stays at 100% for the full lap
Additional observations:
- The bug triggers every lap that starts at 100% battery
- Partially draining the battery on the out lap before crossing the line temporarily avoids the issue, but this should not be required
- MFD on PS5 only shows brake bias and differential — ERS page is not accessible
This makes qualifying unplayable in manual ERS mode. Every push lap is affected. A fix is needed urgently.
