This bug has been reported and really needs fixing asap, because it kills races.
Career Mode, keep getting held in pits as if there's a penalty or unsafe release. The light stays on, and it costs me about 20s each time. I went from 4th to 14th in Jeddah because of it just moments ago.

Just realized that my attachment didn’t attach, but it cost me more than 10 seconds and 5 spots in my pit stall alone

This is happening on steam, All tracks, Using Kick team, We have noticed it on two player career and it is always the second person who pits is stopped in the pits for 5-20 seconds for no reason. On a two stop 50% race in monaco i pitted first which was fine, my friend pitted 2nd and got held.
For the second pit stop we tested him going first instead. He was not held however I was held. We both drive for the same team
When playing two player career mode pit stops are constantly being affected by a bug in which the car is not being released after the tyre change is complete. Can be held for up to a minute for no reason. Makes it unplayable.
Happens to me or my my team AI team mate every race now. Since season two of my team and even with release assist off or on. This bug is insane and needs to be fixed asap. Not playing anymore until this is fixed. Seeing how long this has been a topic now it makes me even more angry.
Im having the same issue with beeing held in the pit for 10+s after my tyres have already been changed, seems it has been an issue for over a month now and it still isent fixed. ruins the whole experience of the game.

Any update regarding this? This is quite game breaking and I have another example here where my teammate looses 15 positions because of this game breaking bug. This is also impacting my rivarly as we are loosing out on points we would have otherwise been scoring.
I did see someone suggest in one of these topics is seems to occur after you upgrade your pit crew and vaguely remember not having this issues before I upgraded them.

Was just wondering if anyone knew if the pit stop bug, where it holds you in the bits for like 10-20 seconds after your tires are changed has been fixed in the latest patch or if there’s an update on when it will be? It’s really been affecting a two player career I’m doing with my mate to the point we’re just not playing the game anymore at the moment because it really takes the fun out of racing each other and the AI. Was just wondering if it’s been solved or if it hasn’t, if we have a timeframe on when it will be?

Still broken. It’s just ruined one of my career races.
The bug happens when you pit and the crew just freeze for 20 seconds before letting you go. This is game breaking.
It's still not fixed and there has been no indication as to when it will be fixed. I agree that this is completly game breaking.
