I have the problem on my F1 25

Hi guys, I got my laptop the day before yesterday, than bought F1 25 yesterday. I played about 10 games, than i close my laptop with updated it. Today, I open it, and the background appears initially, but the just like 0.25x speed, its very laggy, and it's also very laggy when the F1 logo cgi played. After restarting and reload the game, the background won't appear. i have done the steam integrity check, first say 3 errors and dissapear when re-check it. Some time, i can get in the single mode with laggy and black background (except the dashboard) and some time crash.

My report code is: PKRR-PGDJ-CLCK-TVGG

  • Hello EA_Garrus  i just follow your advice to do with my NVIDIA app. i installed it again and just like your image, after that, should i press the green button on the upper right corner (which means install) and click continue?

These are three file when i click in the HardwareSettings, should i delete all?

What I don't understand is why I didn't do anything except update the windows, but the game had problems the next day?

Hello u9t9btez6unq which files are you referring to? Could you please send a screenshot?

If you are referring to HardwareSettings .xml files, then you can delete them!

The issue with the drivers shouldn't really happen, so I would really try to uninstall the NVIDIA app and install it again.
Once that is done, you may use the Nvidia app to perform a clean install of the drivers.
It looks like the screenshot below:

Some options might not be there, but "Clean Installation" should be!

    Keep us posted!

  • Hi EA_Garrus, I have downloaded Nvidia's GPU Drivers before, however ,when i download the latest "GeForce Game Ready"GPU Drivers, it says "There's a problem with the NVIDIA app. Restart the app. If this doesn't resolve the issue, try reinstalling the NVIDIA app and restarting your computer." than i close the it, it shows "installed"  i don't no if i do it right

And i can't find F1 25 on "Graphics" there. but my other games are there, and it shows "window decided"

my laptop's gpu setting is on "computer automatic decided" . i have changed to use "independence gpu" but doesn't changed.

i just see there files and all have Edge's icon, should i delete all?

    thanks.

Hey u9t9btez6unq, it sounds to me that there might be a problem with your graphics drivers or that your Laptop is not using the dedicated GPU.

    Some things to check:
    - Perform a clean install of your GPU Drivers (Usually Nvidia or AMD). Just download the drivers from their website, click the "Custom installation" method when installing, and look for a clean install option!

    - Go to Windows Settings -> Display -> Graphics. Scroll down the list or look for F1 25, then click on it. On GPU Preference, select "High Performance".

    - When playing games, make sure that your PC power settings are on "Performance" mode. Some laptops may also have a Gaming Mode, turn that on if available!

If nothing seems to be working, try going to C:\Users\USERID\Documents\My Games\F1 25\hardwaresettings and delete both .xml files. Then restart your PC before loading up F1® 25.

Should you need more help, I'll leave our F1® 25 PC Troubleshooting Guide!

    Keep us updated!
