Unfortunately, since the update, my brother and I have consistently had this problem. Essentially, we can no longer choose invitational events above 500 tech level. Even now that our tech level is 880, if I pick an invitational event like Brazil or Belgium (which I still have access to), my brother and I get times as if our tech level were 100. Specifically in Brazil, when my tech level is working correctly, I can easily do a lap time of 1:08.500. However, I struggle to even hit 1:11.000 with full ERS and DRS on straights when the invitational event is 550 or higher, and I can't even compete with the last AI car in the race.
