Issues with 2 player career mode

My buddy and I are in a 2 player coop mode. We keep having issues when we get to the race. Some of the issues are as follows: 1) we get put into different spots from where we qualified, 2) when we start the warm up lap only we move on the grid and rest of the field is stationary, 3) one of us will be placed in the back of the field in the middle of the track, 4) one of us might be looking through the visor of the helmet and when we go to start the warm up lap they disappear from the screen. We have closed out of the game completely and keep running into the same issues. Some nights it will work fine after doing that but others it just keeps doing it over and over so we can’t play at all. This is only happening for the actual race as everything else works fine.
