Losing Force Feedback

Consistently whilst racing, I lose my force feedback. The only way I can resolve the bug is by restarting the entire game. Having no force feedback severely affects driving and cannot even be fixed in the game, meaning if I run into this issue I either leave the race, losing licence and ranked points (If it occurs during a ranked game).
