Loss of force feedback on controller. Broken game.

Good evening.

It is a disgrace that the game has been out for 2 weeks and no patch has been released to fix the issue with the loss of force feedback on PS5 controllers.

It is unplayable. You lose the vibration, you have no sensitivity, and it is impossible to play. Last year it happened on a few tracks like Azerbaijan, but now it's already happening in Azerbaijan, Spain (Madrid), the Netherlands, Brazil...

This is no longer a complaint about a lack of content; it's that the game is simply unplayable.

IT IS A DISGRACE.

  • I'm having the exact same problem. It doesn't matter if it's a 5-lap race or a longer distance. I've seen temporary solutions like pausing the race mid-race to restore the vibration, but the problem is that sometimes it's just a corner or a sector that comes back, and you lose the vibration completely. It's incredibly annoying. You lose the feeling of control, and since I play without traction control, it's impossible. In Azerbaijan, it's insane; it's impossible to play when this happens.

  • I'm the same. I'm in a league and it happens to us a lot. It's very annoying. I played a race in Australia before and the same thing happened to me. I wonder if everyone in the room pauses to recover the force feedback.

Same thing for me. I noticed it first in Azerbaijan and just thought my controller was broken. Then got to Singapore and was fine during practice and qualifying, but during the race the loss of force feedback/vibration makes the car feel like 0 weight and therefore unplayable. I cannot believe we are in 2026 complaining about how you randomly lose force feedback on a racing game, which is an essential part of the mechanics of a racing game. EA. Please. Don’t let us down.
