Non-driving lobby host crash breaks host migration
During an online multiplayer race, the lobby host crashed at the start of the race. The lobby host was not an active driver in the race.
The host’s report code is:
DCPL-LRJH-PTZC-KKGD
In the clip, the race is on lap 1/53 when the “Host Migration” message appears. Shortly after that, a message appears saying that a player left the session. A Sector 2 warning is then shown.
After the host migration, the session appears to become unstable. Several drivers or session entries seem to be dropped or desynced after the host migration.
The lobby also did not appear to migrate correctly to the expected next host, even though the expected next host was the second person to join the lobby.
In other occurrences of this issue, the screen immediately turned black after the lobby host crashed. This specific clip mainly shows the host migration and the unstable session behavior that followed.
