Objective not updating after saving and quitting mid-race

When I was racing, I received an objective to use ERS mode for 2.3 seconds per lap. Unfortunately, I had to leave shortly after, so I saved my race and exited the game to continue later. However, when I loaded the game again and resumed racing, the objective stopped updating, and I ended up failing it because of that.
