That said, several other players experiencing the same issue were able to resolve it using those steps, which is why we’ve kept the workaround pinned. This helps ensure as many players as possible can see it, try it, and hopefully get back into the game.
You also mentioned that using a VPN has worked for you. Could you please confirm your region and your internet service provider? That information could help the team narrow down the root cause of the issue.
The problem has solved since around 11 pm Korean standard time. I just did a race online for an hour with no issue!
I'm using SK broadband's internet service. And I heard SK users were experiencing the same problem also with Rockstar's Games such as GTA5 and RDR2. It seemed like it couldn't connect to Rockstar's cloud server. But SK was really uncooperative despite of many claims.
I'm not sure if it can happen again but right now, I'm happy.
