Ever since the beginning of the game, I, along with other pad players, have noticed that wheel players have a significant advantage. Initially, I observed a clear advantage in slow corners, where, d...

There as definitely been more dirty air since the new patch (1.06) which causes understeer overall especially slow mid corners I think this as been caused by the ride height being raised slightly and causes the car behind to suffer badly with understeer and tyre temps i could be wrong but that is my opinion... Tyre wear is awful on pad I can vouch for that getting maximum 7 laps out of a medium stint at most tracks in 50% races is just not feasible if you want to stretch a 1 stop out.. On a plus side the overall handling on pad atleast for me is solid it as already sort of changed since release day which I found was even better than what we have now but i understand it was more for sweats on the game that are used to playing the game compared to the more casual player. Please codies/EA dont change much else with the overall handling. Tyre wear/dirty air/bit more slip stream as got to be top priority for me. i am guessing though AI Is your main concern as that's your bread and butter for career/break point mode which again is understandable for the casuals but at the same time there is a good amount in the multiplayer community/esports aswell that need thinking about. The thing is the game overall is just about there so keep at it im sure we can get a level playing field in the near future.
Peace ✌

I'm also noticing track temps have an impact on tyre temps and wear ive setup up two different online lobby's with same settings apart from weather... Lobby 1 practice (Dry time of day dusk) Lobby 2 (Dry time of day dusk but cloudy) and tyre temps are easier to handle with the track being cooler. More testing needed but I use pad with no assists track I tested on was Saudi Arabia. So in hindsight if my tests are right the design team back at codies are on the right track with this but using dry midday (same as TT) settings in online 25% 35% 50% and 100% multiplayer is absolute brutal on tyres for atleast me on pad.
