maybe add some kind of a multiplier in the options?
it'd multiply the ammount of money and/or resource points you need to unlock and/or develop a part. because right now it's ridiculous how fast teams reach full potenciall.
for instance:
part that cost 100k to develop could cost 1 Mil with 10x multiplier.
or part that cost 700 points to research could cost 1400 with 2x multiplier
i think it's the easiest way to fix the current problem, without overhauling the whole R&D in it's enterity.
