When the AI cars (or player cars for that matter) retire from the session in a race due to an engine failure, they often park in very dangerous locations on the side of the track.
However, there is never a VSC or SC that comes out, even when on increased SC settings.
IRL when drivers retire on the roadside, it is almost always at the very least a VSC or a SC if in a dangerous position.
Hence I’m calling for the SC likelihood to be largely increased when on the increased setting, and moderately incresed for when on the standard setting.
If ‘standard’ is meant to represent a nice middleground that is representative of IRL, most of the time a VSC or SC should come out.
When on increased, it should almost always come out.
Currently the game’s ‘increased’ mode is what the ‘reduced’ mode SHOULD be.
People in both 24 and 25 are going whole seasons without seeing the SC appear.
Call to action:
- Either increase the likelihood of a SC/VSC massively for when AI cars retire, OR…
- Rework the SC detection system so that it recognises what is and what isn’t actually a dangerous location to park.
You could put boxes on the ground beneath the track, saying ‘if AI stops in this box, then deploy VSC’ or ‘if in this one, deploy full SC’
