EA StaffWe are investigating a potential issue with the latest Steam Beta client that may cause the game to crash or close during startup.
Issue:
Some players may experience the game closing or crashing immediately after launch, before the intro video plays.
Based on our current testing, switching from the Steam Beta client back to the stable Steam client appears to resolve the issue.
Suspected Cause:
The issue appears to be linked to the latest Steam Beta update.

Players experiencing this issue should opt out of the Steam Beta client and return to the Stable Steam client.
Additional Notes:
This issue may be related to Steam’s handling or reporting of DLSS Frame Generation, or to the Steam performance monitor overlay.
Because the crash occurs very early in startup, before the intro video plays, it may occur during the initial graphics or overlay setup.
