When playing Two Player career mode, qualifying is bugged and your position in qualifying doesn’t translate to your grid position for the race. I DNFed from Q1 and ended up P7 for the race start in Shanghai. My friend got to Q3, qualified P2, and started P18. Same for sprint races as well.

Can this please be investigated? This is a major game breaking bug for those who play two player career. Many thanks.
Yep, this also occured in 24 sometimes. We always check the starting grid from the "race director" tab before we start. If it's bugged, ALT+F4 your game (or power off your console) and reload the save. 2nd time it's usually right.
But it needs fixing ;-)Got an issue, linked to two carrer bug. Got 10s penalty, finished 6th on the race +10s penalty got met 16th but on my friends screen was 6th. After relaunch I took the points of 6th place instead of no points.
I experienced this yesterday on China, we both were putting in Purple sectors in our sprint qualifying but then on the timing sheet were p18 and P20. However in the sprint we were p1&2. I believe it’s the timing sheet in qualifying not displaying the correct position
Does EA read this post ? Nothing has been done, do they listen people who try to play their game full of bugs ?
Same thing happening for me in two-player career. Qualify as high as 1st and randomly find ourselves toward the back of the grid with no penalties in play.
This is still happening. It's unbelievable that it has not yet been fixed. Let's get to work on this please!
Yep same issue here. won’t be playing until it’s fixed. Imagine a big company can’t even notice a game breaking bug. Amateur.
