VR: Choppy/laggy steering animation

Im getting really good and stable fps, but the animation of the steering onscreen seems to be locked at like 30 fps or maybe even lower. Im running VR with a moza R9 on a RTX 4070 Super. Some people have stated this issue on f1 24 as well but couldnt find a fix. Any help is much appreciated.
