I apologize if this is not the right place to post, as I couldn’t find a forum related to accessibility or an appropriate tag for this topic, and I also apologize for not realizing that the text wasn't sent.
I’ve been a FIFA player since 2007 and have always really enjoyed the game. However, I’m currently facing a serious issue, which also affects other people. Since FIFA 23, and now also in EA FC games, I have not been able to interact with the game.
I am blind, and to navigate the game menus I use the OCR feature of the NVDA screen reader. The problem is that the game’s anti-cheat system blocks this kind of usage, preventing me from reading the screen content.
The alternative — menu narration — does not provide a good navigation experience. It reads very few elements of the game and, on top of that, it is not available in my country.
If possible, I would like to suggest some solutions:
1. Allow NVDA to continue reading the game content. NVDA is a free screen reader and can be downloaded easily for testing and implementation.
2. Expand the capabilities of EA FC’s menu narration and make it available outside the United States. I live in Brazil and currently do not have access to this feature.
3. Ideally, it would be even better to have menu narration support in Portuguese and other languages.
