Can't save tactics, edit default team sheets, formations, or players

EA_PulsarCan you explain how close you are to finding the solution? The issue a lot of us have is that there is very little feedback on any progress. 

Considering this is such an important part of the game, it is really poor that it still isn’t fixed, four months after release. 

It’s a lot of money to spend on a video game with such a fundamental flaw. 

It has already been five months. When exactly will it be fixed?

EA_Pulsar: this is really totally unacceptable! Releasing a totally new tactics system which is far worse than the previous one, is inaccessible, and, in case you finally manage to change or save something, is not even working the way it should!

This game is more bug infested than an average swamp. You would think that, after almost 30 years of making football games, EA would be able to release a semi finished product!

I solved the issue with tactics not saving (PC):

I read a comment in another thread where a user playing on PS5 (I think) mentioned that they solved the issue by simply switching the controller.

So, I tried it on PC, as I usually play with a gamepad.

Here’s what worked for me:

1. Disconnect the gamepad while the game is open.
2. Modify or edit any of the tactics, or create a new one (make sure to also try modifying the tactic and player instructions).
3. Click save.
4. If it works, quit the game.
5. Before reopening the game, reconnect the gamepad.
6. Open the game again.

If you try reconnecting the gamepad without closing and reopening the game, the gamepad will only work in the menu and not in the game.

Why did you archive and close the topic with more than 1,100 complaints about this problem and open this one? Could it be to disguise the disregard for thousands of people who bought and paid for the game and have been complaining about this bug for more than 6 months and you still haven't fixed it? btw, from QA POV this is a basic scenario, ask your QA team to add this as a one of sanity

also if you don't fixed it for FC 25 it's mean that this bug will happen in FC 26, so tell us why we should buy this (FC 26) game again?

I just read on the news there will be no Football Manager version this year because, according to Sports Interactive, the game does not reach the desired quality level.

So, rather than releasing an unfinished piece of crap, they decided to pull the plug on this year's edition and focus on next year.  

Maybe something to keep in mind for next year, EA?
