Career Mode Team Sheets and Substitutions

Everytime I go to edit my team sheet in one of my career mode saves, the players positions do not change and I can’t move them. It’s like they are permanently locked into the position they were in before the glitch started. This also happens in game when I go to make a substitution, as the starter player won’t swap with the sub. This is only an issue on one of my saves, not really sure what to do.
