Chemistry bug after cosmetic evo has been put on.

It is not a bug. 

The item's chemistry is based on it's rarity. TOTS rarity has a chemistry boost, Jude in this case, and that boost was benefiting Tosin, since they share nationality. Since you changed your item's rarity from TOTS to season ladder excellence (you can check in the player bio before starting the evolution), his cards rarity value has decreased, and he no longer has that boost.

The word cosmetic literally means a change to appearance so this doesn't make any sense. It also just ruined my team. 

SportsNutNomad​ I understand, but before you start any evolution, you can check the player bio of the full upgrade, and you will see that the cosmetic changes the item rarity description. I'm sorry, I wish I could actually be helpful, but I can only just explain the reason why this occurred.

Ya, I didn't realize that it would change the rarity, especially for one's that just change the appearance of the card. Do you know if the TOTS Retro 18, 19 & 20 are chemistry compatible with other TOTS? If not, they're a detriment to your squad that cost 50k coins!

SportsNutNomad​ sorry for the late reply. Those retro upgrades give your players TOTS chemistry. Just yesterday I had a mostly TOTS squad and my strike force evolution player was on 1 chemistry, and the full squad was on 31. I applied the TOTS retro 20 and now I have 33 chemistry, so I'm sure that it works.
