Controller not working online

I just bought the game on ea app to play the online mode and i paid money for the game and bought fifa points and opened packs and then when i started playing rivals i found out that my controller is working fine offline but not working online and i tried everything to fix it i restarted everything dropped the fps to 30 i did everything i find to make it work but it didn't work and iam super frustrated, will i be able to play the game that i paid money for or what???
