Every time I play this hobbled mess of a game, my controller (wired Xbox style controller) stops sending any input to the game at random intervals. The cease in control lasts for about a minute or more with no way to correct this until the game decides I've had enough of a handicap. I have tried tabbing in and out of the window and using the keyboard as a fall back, but neither wrest the control back from the mercurial rule of the game. Typically during this lapse in control, the game will act as if I am holding a direction on the joystick; resulting in my player running constantly and leaving the playing field or if in a menu, constant scrolling in one direction. Also, my mouse cursor appears in the top left corner during this arrest and seems to snap back to said corner if moved. This does not happen in any other games nor is the controller disconnecting at any point. This issue occurs randomly and several times per play session--though the amount of time with control is more than the time out of control, it still cause a lot of disruption resulting in an unnecessary amount of forfeits due to falsely detected AFK behavior and losses. I am running Windows 10 and have upgraded from the trial version of FC25 on Steam. Please address this issue, it makes a game I paid a decent amount of money for unplayable.

This issue seems to at least in part be triggered by someone leaving or joining my current discord server. It does seems to happen randomly as well, but it definitely happens when some joins or leaves the discord I currently have up. This shouldn't occur as discord only affects audio and has nothing to do with controller input. This absurd bug has now cost me several matches where I was kicked for inactivity because your game couldn't get its head on straight and has an issue no other game in the history of PC games has. Please fix this buggy mess of an installment.
This happens to me also! I've found using different controllers doesn't fix the issue. I seemed to make the error go away for a while by making sure that windows was fully updated (including the latest virus definition updates) seemed to solve it but it's now back?

No way of knowing if this is correct or not - but I -THINK- I think it happens because there's a desync between windows anti-virus versions between the servers and your local game.
When I keep my computer upto date (and sometimes there are multiple AV updates per day) it sorts itself out ; however at the end of the month, when the clubs play-offs window opens. The error returns and won't sort itself until the eventual FC 25 update.
