Future Stars Evolutions goes wrong

I did the possible evolutions for my academy player and when I got to the Weak Foot Upgrade, my player went from an academy player to a regular green evolution player which means I can't continue to develop him in the academy track
This is a very common problem recently that EA is aware of, I hope they find a solution for it
