Game crashes due to evolutions

For the past week or so my game has been crashing randomly. It happened almost always when I opened the evolutions tab and sometimes when I queued in a game during the screen where you see the opponents team. 

Now it just crashes every time I open my squad, go into any game tab, or open the evolutions tab. I figured out it has something to do with the Attackers Instinct evolution because ever since I took that player out of my team, I can access my squad and games easily.
