I've just noticed this has been posted 18 days ago but no official response lmao. 

We have the same problem, my friends and me in our games the defenders does not defend or whatsoever they just walk blindly with no reaction or roles. And now I see where the problem is from. It has been happening since the start of the game

This is beyond shameful and embarrassing. While we’ve come to expect EA’s neglect, this is a new low. Just because Clubs doesn’t bring in the same money as Ultimate Team doesn’t mean it should be left in a broken, unplayable state.

Me and my friend (original poster) discovered a game-breaking bug on day one—over 225 days ago—and it’s still here. The most obvious issue? The AI in Clubs has NEVER had roles. CDMs don’t sit. CBs don’t hold the line. Fullbacks bomb forward and disappear. It’s chaos. It’s been chaos since release.

 We used to go 40-0 into Elite without breaking a sweat. We know how to play. But we physically can’t compete anymore—not because of the opponents, but because of the broken AI logic. And to make it worse, we submitted full video proof over 20 days ago and still haven’t heard a single word back. No fix. No update. No acknowledgment.

Let’s be honest—if this happened in Ultimate Team, it would've been fixed in under 48 hours. But because it’s Clubs, EA looks the other way. And honestly, at this point, it feels intentional—like they want to quietly funnel players into UT where the money is. 

What makes this even worse is that Clubs was the last genuinely fun mode left. We used to hop on, have a laugh, and still be able to compete. But that’s been stripped away from us.

225 days. No AI roles. No fix. No communication .

I really thought I was the only one that noticed, but thank you so much for posting this. I feel like ea doesn’t give a **bleep** about pro clubs whatsoever, we play elite division and our bots still play like that have 0 def awareness they don’t press or mark, they’re like headless chickens running around. hope ea sees this 

A very simple issue that could be fixed with a single update, yet there's no response from EA.

As for me, I see much bigger problems in Clubs mode — related to gameplay, skill games, and the club store.

But as long as EA’s policy is that you need a million likes and votes just for them to look at a simple issue and fix it, I find this extremely frustrating.

Disgraceful company. All you EA employees need to get a grip. Especially the lame ones who are reading this and doing jack squat 

we need Ea to fix clubs i have 5 and half million fans but there are too much ai bugs and in game issues that the game needs to fix  ex: positining and also wingers finishing and dribbling and heading accuracy for defenders 

I have a team on XBOX One X, PS5, and PS4 and all of my teams have terrible defending and clearly the roles that they are assigned to do not work yet so many opposition teams seem to have far better bots that almost seem human controlled. It's been a struggle all year and although we can score a bunch of goals, the bots just let opoosition players run past them and score. EA have a LOT to answer for!

This is incredibly upsetting as someone who is a very casual player. I managed to convince 3 of my friends to get FIFA for the first time ever so we could play clubs (I've never played clubs before but I play EASHL every year so I was excited for a similar game mode but for soccer) and since I'm a casual and my friends are new, we're not great and we don't want to play fullbacks. Because of this bug we stand no chance and it's incredibly unfun. I pray that EA takes a look at this so we can enjoy this game. Please
