I'm sorry that this happened to you. This is what always happens, I can't tell enough people not to add playstyles to live cards while item specific upgrades are still possible. There should be a tutorial or at least a warning regarding this.

I've been bitten many of times my friend I'm a long time sufferer of fc/fifa. My gripe was that they actually gave me it on the card for nearly a day then removed it after 6. I had her with 5 playstles so it could obviously be done but they decided to "fix it" that fast even though people still haven't received compensation from the icon pick they screwed up and they're also advertising the new game with all the incentives every time I load up. I've spent tens of thousands over the years and they're nothing but penny pinching, money grabbing grinches.
