New Input Glitch When In Game

I use a ps4 controller to play but whenever I get into any type of game mode online or off the game randomly says new input and pauses the game all throughout the game. I've tried changing the cable connecting to my pc and controllers aswell but nothing works. I also tried disabling steam input to try and fix it but that doesn't do anything either. It was working just fine last week but when I got on this week the problem started.
