Not displaying correct units for player weight and height

In the visual section of the game settings menu I selected the measurement system to be metric and it does change, but when I exit the game and enter it again, player weight is displayed in pounds and height is displayed in feet and inches which are not metric units and I need to change the measurement system to default then back to metric if I want it to display player weight and height in metric.
