Hi EA Support,
I’m playing EA FC 25 on PS5, and I’ve experienced a consistent and extremely frustrating issue with the passing AI. The system frequently (approximately 8 out of 10 times) chooses the wrong player – often ignoring multiple nearby teammates in favor of sending the ball across the pitch or directly to the opponent.
I’m using semi-assisted controls, and I always direct my passes intentionally, yet the game ignores this input. This isn’t just a minor annoyance; it actively affects the gameplay by creating counterattacks and leading to conceded goals.
It’s honestly ridiculous how often the game makes clearly illogical decisions with passes – even when the intended recipient is right in front of the passer. The AI feels broken, and it’s incredibly disappointing considering this wasn’t a major issue in previous titles.
Please investigate and address this in an upcoming update.
