When he moves on at the end of the season, he is not even selected for the Ballon d'Or. (His transfers include PSG, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Barcelona, etc.) However, if he stays with the same club, he wins the Ballon d'Or.
Is there a rule in the Ballon d'Or selection criteria that excludes players who have moved on at the end of the season?
