So here is an issue that has been around all year that I haven't really understood. So most of the RMs or LMs in the game will only usually take 2 weeks to be converted to a RW or LW. However, once their position is changed, it always takes an absurd amount of time to change back, even though in game the positions play really similar, even sharing many roles such as Winger or Inside Forward. But along with this comes a weird glitch.
Say I have a RM who has "Inside Forward++" in the RM position and has been playing fine in the RM position the whole time. As soon as they are converted from a RM to a RW, they become "out of position" and gain the little yellow indicator above them, even though they are proficient in that role and that position. It happens for multiple different positions, and basically the indications of a position that a player can play is actually a lie. I could have a player that could play CM as their main position, but may have, CAM, LM, and CDM as their other positions, yet in all of those other positions they will be "out of position" when put there. Why is this, what is the point of displaying that a player can play in these other positions if they actually cant? In ultimate team, this is different, and players can play in every displayed position to them, why does it not work the same on career mode, it makes no sense? People have been complaining about this all year, but I feel like its still an issue that EA would miss. This is such a basic feature of the game and is crucial to career mode and building teams, there is no excuse for this not to work.
