Same Color Jersey Ruins Champions Match

Great to see EA is hopping right on this, lol!

But seriously, how hard can it be to ensure the kits contrast enough to have a decent game? I just played another Champions match where I nearly went blind trying to distinguish my players from my opponent’s. If the game is supposed to be competitive (and fun!) then let’s have the competition be about skill and not something as stupid and random (and avoidable) as being unable to tell whose players are whose. This is something so fundamental I can’t believe I’m even having to post about it. Just let each player select the kits (for themselves AND their opponent) and render the match for Player A with that player’s choices and render the match for Player B with their respective choices. I thought that was the whole point of the waiting room kit selection process.

SSDD!  So, after repeated conflicts between my home blue kit and my opponent’s, I decided I’d give up blue in favor of a less popular color. I chose orange (with black shorts). Only this time it was the referee wearing the same uniform! I swear, you couldn’t make this s#@t up if you tried! I lost track of the number of times I tried passing to this wide open referee, lol!

Still awaiting comment from EA. Are we going to see a fix for an issue (frequent color conflicts between team kits and referees) that wouldn’t even be permitted at a U8 rec soccer game? Or is this the quality that EA is satisfied with charging customers’ hard-earned money for?

Five days and not even an acknowledgement. I raise a perfectly legitimate issue that directly affects gameplay (and that can’t possibly have anything to do with user error—it’s a coding issue) and I can’t even get someone from EA to say “we hear you and we’ll put it on our list of bugs that need to be addressed.” C’mon you guys, setting up this forum so that customers can shout into an abyss and hear nothing but the echo of their own voice makes a mockery of “customer service.” Show you at least give half a care or just shut down the forums altogether.
