Scoring in Squad Battle still crash game after update

The newest update is meant to fix the Squad Battle crash issue after scoring a goal, but I just experienced it again after updating the game, I'm on PS5.

This is such a strange bug, why is it so hard to fix? Doesn't seem to happen in other modes.
