Black Boots Bug in Career Mode (PS5) – Please Fix Without Requiring New Save
Hello,
I am experiencing the “Black Boots Bug” in Career Mode on PS5. Every time I play a match, all my players automatically switch to the same black default boots, even if I manually change their boots in the settings.
The changes do not save properly, and during the next match the game reverts all boots back to the black model again. This issue makes the Career Mode experience feel incomplete and visually broken.
I have already tried:
- Editing player boots manually
- Restarting the game
- Clearing PS5 cache
- Updating squads
- Re-installing the game
None of these attempts fixed the issue.
Please note:
I have a long-term Career Mode save that I do not want to lose.
I kindly request that the fix for this bug does not require starting a new save file.
Many users are reporting the same issue, so it seems to be a global bug that needs an official patch.
