black boots bug manager live

Experienced this issue in the beta too.

Same problem. Wasted time setting my boots again only to have them go default again. What a waste of my 10 hour trial time! Only have 2.5 hours left…

EA, any chance of an update on this issue? 

this and the live start generic manager in a full kit bugs are game wasting.

It happens to me too, it is happening currently on the manager career LIVE mode, it happens to every single player in my team. I change their boots but once I am going to have a match, they go back to the black default boots. 

Every kit, every team, every instance of clicking on “match day” for the first game of a “live” career mode season. Both live start points and full career. 

TU4 and this is still an issue in the live section of career mode

New update and still not fixed, can't be that hard to get it noticed

Please fix this in the next patch. Was disappointed it wasn’t fixed in the recent one. I also discovered if you start a live manager mode you will have the correct boots up until you play a match. So quitting and reloading the save plus playing a match causes the boots to be set to black default EA ones.

2 months since this comment, and issue that has been there since day 1 and still no fix! I refuse to keep playing incase I have to restart to fix the issue, £70 for a broken game every single year is unacceptable. With football manager now out and call of duty on Friday I doubt ill be playing this broken game again 

Still not fixed after today’s patch. Seemed like it was, managed to have a players boots from an old save stay set but I started a new life career and it’s not working. This is the worst FIFA yet because of all of these bugs. It’s getting ridiculous and was patch is breaking the game further and I haven’t played half as much as I played in previous titles. For me, you’ve killed the franchise 

Why has this not been resolved yet? They keep making changes to manager live mode but have not fixed this. It’s one of the reasons I like player manager mode so I can change the boots. Absolute shambles this hasn’t been addressed 

Same , truest to reinstall the game, reset my PlayStation, change all teams and the issue is still there

Why is it February and the black boot issue is not fixed

It happens only on career mode live. You can change the entire look of each player and save the game and then once you jump forward to a game, the game will revert all player cleats to black. I have cleared the cache, tried to start a carer mode live with many different teams doing multiple different career mode live starting points and it’s all the same. I am on Xbox SX
