Yes bro! Upvote the forum, I am replying to every comment here to encourage EA to actually implement a solution for us. The options I can think of include:
Manually putting in our player into the evo and giving them the upgrade,
Reversing the cosmetic change at our expense and we lose the additional cosmetic but regain the old one
Releasing a TOTY HM cosmetic and applying it to our player for us
Changing the requirements for the Evo to something that allows us to input our player using specific stats and not the rarity
