Contracts glitch

Problem I’ve had a few times now. Scenario is a player is into the last 12 months of contract. Before you negotiate a new one he will submit a transfer request. He may ask for a renewal, sometimes he doesn’t not. So you renew successfully. He removes the transfer request. Fast forward a week or so of game time and he then messages to say we haven’t discussed his contract and he’s not happy. He then puts a request in again. If you ignore the offers that come in, eventually the board sanction the sale. Very frustrating this has happened with 3 players on 2 different manager mode saves and all before November of the game time, so very early into a season.
